upcoming classes

thursday sept 14

7-9:30pm

OLM (open-level masterclass)

Come and share whatever song you’re working on in front of an affirming, encouraging, helpful group of humans!

You’ll each have 7-10 minutes to run through a song of your choice and receive feedback and technical tips from me and also from the other studio members.

The only way performance jitters go away is with regular practice plus confidence in the choices you’re making. Practice doesn’t always make perfect, but it always results in improvement. We’ll vocalize as a group before we begin! Up to 14 participants.

…but, in all seriousness. masterclass is fun. here’s what we do.

  • OLM aka open level masterclass

Have an audition coming up and need to rehearse with an audience? Want to up your performance level at karaoke? Struggle with debilitating performance anxiety and just want some practice running your rep in front of an encouraging, uplifting audience while receiving some top-notch feedback? Then Open Level Masterclass is for you!

  • MM+ aka masterclass magic plus

Check out the description for the Open Level Masterclass, but imagine it with fewer participants for those seeking even more individual time allowing for even greater attention to detail in your work. MM+ is designed to be customizable to the needs of the participants, so you could assemble a group of 4 and prepare for a topic/theme!

using your voice as a differentiator

Did you know that according to science, 38% of your first impression when meeting someone new is based on the tone of your voice? A mere 7% is based on the content of what you say. It’s not what you say, it’s how you say it. The purpose of this interactive workshop is to help speakers understand the power of their tone, to teach healthy habits for vocal longevity, to provide participants with practice bringing out emotion, humor, and veracity in their speaking, and how to use these qualities to their advantage.
